The Solution Architect is a pivotal technical leader responsible for shaping the fundamental design and operational health of wireless systems. This role drives the evaluation and implementation of cloud-native architectural changes that align with strategic business objectives. It requires collaboration with numerous teams to translate business needs into detailed, resilient, and well-documented technical solutions and resolve complex production challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise systems and processes to support Service Provider’s wireless goals and align with cloud-native principles, recommending lifecycle and architectural changes as needed
- Develop detailed Enterprise-level, and Level 3/4 design documentation, including flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, data models, and network configuration diagrams
- Participate in architecture design and review sessions, collaborating with Product, Project Management, and application teams to understand business needs and define operational solutions
- Evaluate, design, and implement application/service solutions in partnership with stakeholders and application teams, ensuring up-to-date architecture documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve API platform issues, monitor accessibility and deployments, and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurring production issues
- Contribute to grooming business requirements and features, ensuring integration requirements are clearly defined and aligned with overall enterprise solution architecture
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 15+ years of enterprise, system or applications architecture experience (wireless industry experience a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solution Architect, GCP
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across large organizations with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working in Agile environments and managing self-directed work with minimal supervision
- Skilled in designing applications using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experienced in system integrations via APIs and integration platforms such as Apigee, with end-to-end solution design and capable of driving application architecture implementations
- Technical expertise in Java, Spring, Microservices, databases, and specialized domains such as data analysis, catalog design, order management, billing, provisioning, mobile, B2B, cloud automation, or software development
- Hands-on experience in Retail Wireless environments, contributing to architecture, integration, and application development for enterprise solutions
