About the Job
The Data Analytics Sr. Developer is responsible for managing infrastructure changes related to Informatica ETL tasks, optimizing performance, and providing proactive production support. The role involves developing ETL jobs, SQL queries, and ad-hoc Tableau dashboards, ensuring cost-effective implementations in cloud data warehouses like GCP BigQuery and AWS Redshift. The developer will collaborate with business teams to design data solutions, automate tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash), and enforce security best practices. Required skills include expertise in Informatica IICS, SQL, Tableau, and cloud platforms. A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of data analytics experience are essential, with cloud migration expertise preferred.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in data field
Skills Required
- Implementing Business Intelligence solutions with tools like Informatica IICS, SAP Business Objects, Tableau or any other Business Intelligence (BI) tools and backend databases like Oracle and MongoDB.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL
- Proficiency in Google Cloud – Big Query
- Experience with data cataloging tool like Informatica Cloud Data and Governance (aka Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog)
- Hands-on experience on BI tools like Tableau, SAP Business Object (Webi)

- Experience in creating data pipelines, especially in cloud environments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support and maintain infrastructure related changes as for Informatica ETL tasks.
- Manage monitoring of production informatica ETL tasks and provide proactive production support for issues/failures.
- Work closely with business teams to understand data analytics requirements and provide appropriate data design solutions.
- Facilitate communication with business groups and UAT teams for end-to-end delivery.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and processes.
- Use scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation purposes.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and policies for data and reports access.
- Respond to and resolve operational issues, outages, and incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
- Develop Informatica ETL jobs and SQL queries to support various data analytics projects.
- Develop ad-hoc tableau dashboards to be presented to executive management.
- Ensure cost effective implementation in cloud DWs like GCP Big Query/AWS Redshift/ Microsoft Azure
