About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead and manage all aspects of client engagements in the Germantown, MD region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of telecommunications business (satellite, wireless, mobile), strong client management skills, and the ability to drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong consulting (problem solving) and engagement execution experience at Program levels with ability to scale up to Executive levels as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Oversee the delivery of IT and Engineering services, ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities to expand the range of services provided to each client.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to develop tailored solutions that address client challenges and align with their strategic goals.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and executive business reviews to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Monitor account health and proactively address potential issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging telecom technologies to guide clients on the latest advancements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant consulting experience in mid/large tier 1/2/3 service organizations in client-facing roles within IT and Engineering with telecommunications clients.
  • Strong background in telecommunications, with an understanding of satellite, network, wireless, or telecom infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client engagements from inception to completion, with a focus on strategic account growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong presentation, project management and organizational skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Mobile, Digital technology stack.
