We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Linux Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will help us manage and maintain our robust IT infrastructure across cloud environments like GCP and AWS. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Linux administration, DevOps automation, and cloud platforms, all while learning from an experienced global team.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform like GCP or AWS.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, VMware, OpenStack, Open Nebula.
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud security best practices.
- Immediate availability and willingness to work 5 days in-office.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of our Linux servers.
- Support the team in automating tasks using tools like Ansible and Python.
- Help monitor and optimize system performance to ensure reliability.
- Learn to configure and manage networking and security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
- Contribute to troubleshooting and incident management.
- Collaborate with our global team on various cloud infrastructure projects.
