About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET who can design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for API and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong Java fundamentals, hands-on experience in API automation, and the ability to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines while working in an agile environment.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks for API and backend services
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines for faster release cycles
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure quality at every stage
- Review test scripts, improve code quality, and enforce best practices in automation
- Participate in sprint planning, test strategy discussions, and defect triage meetings
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and suggest preventive measures
- Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Java: Strong fundamentals in OOPs concepts, Collections Framework, Exception Handling
- TestNG: Test configuration, annotations, data providers, parallel execution
- RestAssured: API automation, JSON/XML parsing, request/response validation
- SQL: Database queries, data validation, test data setup
- AWS Services: Basic understanding of Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB
- Tools: Maven, Git, Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines
- AI Tools: Experience with Amazon Q, Claude or similar AI coding assistants
Nice to Have
- Telecom/wireless domain knowledge
- GenAI Knowledge
- Familiarity with performance testing and monitoring tools
